10th Podilato.eu Cup MTB CHERRY RACE 'ROADS KERASIOU' IN EDESSA

On  Sunday, March 15, 2020 Aeropos Edessas, in association with the Athletics Veterans Association of  Edessa, Podilato.eu (Kasparis Panagiotis), DIKEKE Edessa under the auspices of the Municipality of Edessa, organize mountain biking MTB race 29km, and call on  the mountain cyclists to join and enjoy the green Edessa.

ARTICLE 1st (description)

Date:         Sunday, March 15, 2020 and start at 10:30 am, MTB

INFORMATION ROUTE

Start and finish: Area FOE Edessa.

The distance that the athletes will spend is:
  29km with an altitude difference of about 1050m with about 20km off paths. (Start at 12:30.)
  15km with an altitude difference of about 620m FUN category.

ARTICLE 2 (ELIGIBILITY)

Right to participate in the OPEN race are all athletes cyclists over 18 years. Younger athletes (15-18) can participate after informed consent of their parents.

The participants in the race accept with their participation in the race this Regulation and are obliged to respect him. All participants take part with their own responsibility or liability for any accident or damage to, or loss of, or damage the bike equipment, clothes, bicycles etc.

The organizers do not accept responsibility for any accident, loss or damage of any material participating in the event.

Registration will take place and in the starting area, up to an hour before the start. Participation fee EUR 10 for registration by Thursday 12/3/2020. On race day, new entries will cost 15 euros.

 RACE REGULATIONS:

Cyclists are required to:

1. Attend the start of the race 45 minutes before the start.

3. Wear the protective helmet race.

4. Conduct the struggle to other cyclists, the Jury and their attendants in accordance and commitment to fair play.

5. Must wear identification numbers, which will be provided by the organizer. The dimensions and layout of the number does not accept changes.

6. The three (3) first cyclists are obliged to present themselves at the podium for the emergence of winners.

ARTICLE 3

ATHLETES CATEGORIES

OPEN

Adolescents 15 to 18 (with parents signature) 

Men 17-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50+,  29km

Men FUN 15km
Ladies 15km

If some categories is not filled to the limit of six athletes then  merges with the next.

 RECEIPT NUMBERS:

In the Secretariat by 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Sunday

PRIZES

On the 1st of each category will be given cups, medals and certification.

2nd and 3rd medal, certification

4th 5th 6th certification.
ARTICLE 4

SUPPORT

Supplying water and isotonic there will be at 9Κm and 19Κm. Kindly athletes fly garbage only within the support stations.

CONTROL POINTS

The passage of the athletes will be recorded at three points of the route. The athletes are required to wear their number prominently to allow judges to record them without trouble and delay.

At the starting point you will arrive by leaving Edessa to Aridaia, 400m after the railroad tracks, just see the plane (monument) go left.
